2 dead following single-vehicle wreck on OK 53 in Carter County
CARTER COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, two people died in a single-vehicle collision on OK 53 on Sunday.
The driver of a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox crashed around 4 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver and their passenger dead at the scene from head injuries. They were a 53-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman. It is unclear who was driving the Equinox.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They said the road was wet at the time of the crash.
