Authorities arrest driver for fatally colliding with pedestrian near Metro Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, authorities apprehended a driver they believe struck and killed a pedestrian near W Main St and N Blackwelder Ave on Wednesday.

The driver was reportedly under the influence and driving at high speeds on the wrong side of the road when he collided with the victim around 3 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Authorities arrested the driver for DUI and Manslaughter.
