Driver dies following wrong-way collision with semi-truck on Turner Tpke in Luther
LUTHER, OK – A man died following a wrong-way collision with a semi-truck on the Turner Tpke on Tuesday, according to KOCO.
A 23-year-old man was driving a 2014 Nissan Sentra east in the westbound lanes of the Turner Tpke when he collided head-on with a semi-truck around 1:30 a.m.
The 23-year-old was pinned inside the Sentra for around 45 minutes. Rescue crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
