1 dead following 3-vehicle crash in Yukon

YUKON, OK – According to KOCO, one person is dead following a three-vehicle collision on I-40 EB near Czech Hall Rd on Friday.

A semi-truck driver rear-ended a Hyundai driver around 7 p.m. The collision sent the Huunda crashing into a Mitsubishi that was stopped on the outside shoulder due to a previous wreck.

Rescue crews pronounced a passenger from the Mitsubishi, Creed Felton, 24, dead at the scene. They transported the Mitsubishi and Hyundai drivers to hospitals in critical condition. The semi-truck driver was unharmed in the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
