Alleged impaired driver fatally strikes pedestrian in Okemah

OKEMAH, OK – A driver who was allegedly impaired struck and killed a female pedestrian at OK 56 and OK 27 on Tuesday, according to KOCO.

A man was driving west on OK 56 when he strayed off the road and collided with a 30-year-old woman around 3 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died.

The driver was not hurt in the collision.
