Officials release more info on deadly auto vs. pedestrian crash on US 377 in Seminole County

SEMINOLE COUNTY, OK – Officials have provided additional details concerning the fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision that happened on US 377 SB near E 112 Rd on Tuesday, according to KOKH.

A 34-year-old woman was heading south on US 37 when she hit a 43-year-old man from Wewoka walking a bicycle on the roadway around 8:30 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene and transported the driver to an area hospital, where she was treated and released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
