Troopers investigate deadly crash caused by illegal U-turn on OK 266 in Rogers County
ROGERS COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash caused by a driver making an illegal U-turn on OK 266 near N 145th E Ave on Friday.
The driver of a pickup truck made an illegal U-turn and collided with an eastbound Nissan Altima occupied by five people around 10:30 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Jenaro-Marcial Sanchez-Mauorga, 46, dead at the scene. It is unclear which vehicle Sanchez-Mauorga was in. First responders transported the pickup truck driver and two passengers from the Altima to an area hospital.
