Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian near Purdue Place

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian on MacArthur Blvd near NW 10th St on Monday, according to KOCO.

Officers responded to a report of a body lying in the road around 1:45 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

No witnesses were in the area when the incident happened.

Authorities will look for security cameras in the area to gather more evidence.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
