Woman found guilty for fatal crash in Broken Arrow
BROKEN ARROW, OK – A woman was found guilty of causing a fatal crash that happened near W Kenosha St and S 145th E Ave on July 17, 2020, according to FOX 23.
A 39-year-old woman was driving a Ford Explorer west on W Kenosha St when she attempted to turn left onto S 145th E Ave and collided with an eastbound 58-year-old male motorcyclist.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities found evidence that the female driver was impaired, and she had her 7-year-old daughter in the car with her during the crash.
A jury found the female driver guilty of first-degree manslaughter, child endangerment, and DUI.
She will be sentenced on March 11.
