Police arrest man for fatal hit-and-run crash near Central Capitol Hill
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOKH, police have arrested a man for a fatal crash near SE 29th and S Shields Blvd on Aug 2, 2023.
A 21-year-old man was fleeing from police in a car when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a 32-year-old pedestrian before slamming into a building.
The 21-year-old man exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot.
Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities arrested the 21-year-old man on Wednesday and charged him with first-degree murder and leaving the scene of a fatality accident. They interviewed the 21-year-old and booked him in jail.
