Pickup truck driver fatally collides with school bus on Franklin Road in Norman

NORMAN, OK – According to FOX 25, two people died when a pickup truck driver hit a school bus on Franklin Road between 84th Avenue Northeast and 108th Avenue Northeast Thursday afternoon.

A person was driving a pickup truck west on Franklin Road when they strayed into the eastbound lane and struck the bus head-on around 12:20 p.m.

First responders pronounced the man and woman inside the pickup truck dead at the scene.

First responders transported the two adults aboard the bus to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Three children were also on the bus. None of them was hurt in the collision.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

 

Driver crashes into creek, dies in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver died after crashing into a creek near Northwest Expressway and North Piedmont Road Wednesday afternoon, according to News on 6.

The driver entered the creek around noon.

Crews found one person dead at the scene.

An autopsy will determine what caused the driver’s death.

 

Crash in Yukon injures at least 1 person

YUKON, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, at least one person was hurt in a wreck at westbound Northwest 150th Street and southbound Lake Hefner Parkway Friday afternoon.

The incident was reported to the authorities around 2:15 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to injury accident in west Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – First responders were called to the scene of an accident with injury at eastbound West Reno Avenue and northbound South Council Road Friday afternoon, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 2:58 p.m.

Officials have not provided additional details.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, an injury accident blocked traffic at outh Walker Ave and Southwest 4th Street on Friday.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 4:45 p.m.
