2 dead in head-on collision on Oklahoma 56 near Cromwell

CROMWELL, OK  – According to News 9, two men were killed in a two-vehicle crash at Oklahoma 56 and East West 1210 Road on Saturday morning.

A 28-year-old man was driving a 2005 Nissan Murano when he hit a 2008 Ford F-150 operated by a 24-year-old man around 1:03 a.m.

Emergency crews extricated both drivers from their vehicles and pronounced them dead at the scene. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Driver crashes into light pole, trees in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman driving a pickup truck slammed into a light pole and trees on the 2800 block of Interstate 44 northbound Saturday afternoon, according to News 9.

Authorities believe the woman may have had a medical issue or fallen asleep at the wheel before the crash. The pickup truck’s brakes may have locked up as well.

First responders transported the driver and her baby to an area hospital.

Officials have not released the driver’s name.

 

Teen killed when train hits SUV in Mayes County

MAYES COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, a teen girl died when an SUV was struck by a train on West 430th Road near US 69 Sunday evening.

A 16-year-old female driver was operating an SUV when she ran a stop sign and collided with the train around 7:10 p.m. The driver died in the accident.

First responders transported a passenger to an area hospital.

No one on the train was hurt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Crash in Paseo injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a traffic accident at Northwest 23rd Street and North Francis Avenue Tuesday afternoon, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 12:33 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to injury accident on North Lincoln Boulevard

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to the scene of an accident with injury at 400 North Lincoln Boulevard northbound Tuesday afternoon.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 12:14 p.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic on Shields Boulevard

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash blocked traffic on Shields Boulevard near Southeast 44th Street Tuesday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 8:45 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
