Semi-truck driver fatally collides with Kia Forte in Mooreland

MOORELAND, OK – Two men are dead after a semi-truck driver collided with a Kia Forte at NS212 Rd SB and US 412 EB on Sunday, according to KOCO.

A 30-year-old man was driving the Kia Forte south on NS212 Rd when he failed to yield to an eastbound semi-truck on US 412 around 12:40 p.m.

First responders pronounced the Kia driver and his 37-year-old male passenger dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision.

 

Wrecker driver crashes into North Canadian River

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver was hurt after they plunged into the North Canadian River near I-40 and N Council Rd on Monday morning, according to KOCO.

The wrecker driver strayed off the road, plowed through a barbed wire fence, and dropped 40 feet into the river around 3:45 a.m.

First responders rescued the driver and transported them to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Troopers investigate deadly auto vs. pedestrian collision in Cleveland County

CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly auto vs. pedestrian collision that occurred on S Harrah Rd near Rolling Oak Rd on Saturday.

An SUV driver was heading north on S Harrah Rd when they hit a 41-year-old man in the roadway around 5:45 a.m.

First responders transported the pedestrian to an area hospital, where he died.

The SUV driver was not hurt in the collision.

 

Crash on NW 6th St injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at 800 NW 6th St on Monday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 7:23 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to injury accident near Parmelee

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to an accident with injury at S Santa Fe Ave and E I-240 WB on Monday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 7:17 a.m.

Officials have not provided additional details.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic in south OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck blocked traffic on SW 119th St near S Western Ave on Monday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 8:25 a.m.
