HAZMAT crews respond to fuel spill in northwest OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, HAZMAT crews were called to clean up a fuel spill after a semi-truck crashed with other vehicles on I-344 near OK 74 on Saturday.
At least three vehicles were involved in the wreck.
A tank on the semi-truck involved in the crash ruptured, leaking fuel onto I-344.
HAZMAT crews cleared the scene.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
Officials believe rain and snow may have caused the crash.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Single-vehicle crash injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle collision at SE 9th St and E Grand Blvd on Sunday, according to KOCO.
A driver was speeding when they crashed sometime Sunday afternoon.
First responders transported at least one of the two occupants to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not released the driver’s or passenger’s names.
Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian near McCracken Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian near SE 66th St and Johnnie Terrace on Sunday.
The driver hit the victim around 7 p.m. They then fled the area.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
Crash near Redlands Park injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at NW 140th St EB and N Pennsylvania Ave SB on Tuesday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.
The incident was reported to authorities around 8:44 a.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Paramedics respond to injury accident on Lake Hefner Pkwy
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at 6299 Lake Hefner Pkwy SB on Tuesday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:32 a.m.
Officials have not provided more details.
Auto accident blocks traffic on I-40 in El Reno
EL RENO, OK – A crash disrupted traffic on I-40 WB near S Radio Rd on Tuesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
Emergency crews were called to the wreck around 8:35 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
