Driver launches off US 169, lands in apartment complex in east Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Two people were hurt when a driver drove off US 169 and landed in the Sierra Pointe apartment complex in east Tulsa on Sunday, according to KTUL.

The driver was heading north on US 169 and tried to take the exit for I-44 WB when they missed the exit, was launched across the highway, and landed in the apartment complex. The vehicle rolled multiple times and stopped after slamming into a building.

First responders transported the driver and passenger to an area hospital in stable condition.
