Police investigate deadly crash in northeast Tulsa
TULSA, OK – The Tulsa Police Department is investigating a fatal wreck that occurred near 6100 S. Hwy 169 NB on Friday, according to KTUL.
A driver crashed into a median wall, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times before coming to rest on the side of the road at around 10:45 p.m. The passenger of the vehicle was thrown from the car during the wreck.
First responders transported the driver and passenger to area hospitals in critical condition. The passenger died at the hospital.
Other drivers crashed while trying to avoid the initial collision.
Authorities believe speed played a role in the incident.
