Troopers investigate UTV crash that killed 6-year-old boy in Bryan County near Cartwright

CARTWRIGHT, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal UTV wreck that claimed the life of a 6-year-old boy on a trail near Cartwright on Saturday, according to KOCO.

A 72-year-old man was driving the UTV when he hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.

First responders pronounced the 6-year-old boy dead at the scene. The driver was not hurt in the crash.

The boy and the driver were not wearing seatbelts.
