Hit-and-run driver seriously injures bicyclist near Windsor Hills

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, a hit-and-run driver struck and hurt a female bicyclist near NW 36th St and N Meridian Ave on Oct .8.

The driver hit the victim around 5:30 a.m. and then fled the scene.

First responders transported the bicyclist to a local hospital with punctured lungs, nerve damage, and broken bones. She spent five days in the hospital.

Authorities have not located the driver, but have recovered the side mirror of the vehicle that hit the victim.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the incident. They urge anyone with information concerning the collision to contact them.
