Driver fatally collides with toddler at Bradford Apartments in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A driver struck and killed a three-year-old at Bradford Apartments on Tuesday, according to KJRH.

The toddler ran into the street and was struck by a passing vehicle going around 25 mph around 8:45 p.m. The driver dragged the child 5-10 feet.

First responders transported the child to an area hospital, where they died.

Following the collision, a large crowd gathered, and the driver exited his vehicle. People threatened the driver, so he entered his car and drove off. Someone fired multiple shots at the driver as he left the scene.

The driver returned to the scene once police arrived.

The district attorney’s office will review potential charges for the child killed and the shots fired at the driver once police finish investigating the incidents.
