Driver fatally collides with tree on US 270 near Holdenville

HOLDENVILLE, OK – A driver died after they struck a tree on US 270, about two miles west of Holdenville, on Thursday, according to KOCO.

A 30-year-old woman was driving west on US 270 when she strayed off the road and slammed into a tree around 7:40 a.m.

First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
