Driver fatally collides with fence, tree in McCurtain County

MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, a driver died after he hit a barbed wire fence and a tree near Rockhill Cemetery Rd and Slater Rd on Saturday.

A 28-year-old man was driving a pickup truck west on Rockhill Cemetery Rd at approximately 6:50 p.m. when he strayed off the road and struck a fence and tree.

First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
