Woman dies after driver crashes into water near Ridgeview Estates

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a woman lost her life when a driver crashed into a body of water near I-40 and S Peebly Rd on Wednesday night.

A man was driving a Ford Explorer Sport Trac when he slid off I-40 and crashed into the water.

First responders transported the driver and his female passenger to an area hospital, where the woman died. The driver was not hurt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They are looking into whether impairment played a role in the collision.

Driver fatally collides with parked semi on I-44 near Kellyville

CREEK COUNTY, OK – A driver died after she crashed into a parked semi-truck on the outside shoulder of I-44 near mile marker 210 on Jan 13, according to FOX 23.

A woman was driving east on I-44 when she strayed off the right side of the roadway and slammed into the parked semi-truck.

First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was hospitalized. They were treated and released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

3 adults, 2 juveniles dead following Jackson County wreck

JACKSON COUNTY, OK – According to KOKH, one adult and two minors were killed in a two-vehicle collision near US 62 and S County Rd 194 on Feb 6.

A 55-year-old woman was driving when she collided with a vehicle operated by a 36-year-old around 3:47 p.m.

First responders pronounced the 55-year-old woman and her 64-year-old male passenger dead at the scene. The other driver and two of her three juvenile passengers were also pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics transported an 8-year-old boy from the 36-year-old’s vehicle to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Crash in Arcadia injures at least 1 person

ARCADIA, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at 13699 N Hiwassee Rd on Thursday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 8:36 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to crash near Lake Hefner

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at Lake Hefner Parkway SB at Britton Rd on Thursday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:25 a.m.

Officials have not disclosed additional details.
