OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was left in critical condition after she crashed her car into a creek in Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
The single-vehicle collision happened off the intersection of Southwest 59th Street and Morgan Road, which is west of Will Rogers International Airport, according to OKCFOX.
Preliminary details show the woman was driving east on Morgan Road when she lost control of her car and drove straight into the creek. The woman, the sole occupant of her vehicle, became trapped inside.
Fire crews extricated the female driver, and ambulance personnel rushed her to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Oklahoma City police did not say if slick road conditions played a part in the single-vehicle collision.

OHP places 2 in custody following pursuit-turned-collision near Braman
NEAR BRAMAN, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol placed two people in custody following a pursuit-turned-collision near Braman on Thursday.
The incident unfolded when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol tried to pull over a vehicle that failed to yield, OKCFOX reports.
One woman, who was traveling behind the vehicle that failed to yield, reportedly used her vehicle to block troopers from conducting a traffic stop. The male driver in front of her did not comply with law enforcement’s order to stop and continued driving, prompting a pursuit.
The female driver continued to drive at a distance from the male driver.
The chase ended when the male driver crashed his car into a semi-truck weight scale.
The male driver tried to flee the scene on foot, but was immediately detained and arrested along with the female suspect. No injuries were reported for the suspects or other individuals.
The female suspect was arrested for obstruction. The male suspect was already wanted for several charges, which include sexual assault of a minor and eluding law enforcement, in three states.
The male suspect is expected to face additional charges in Oklahoma before being transferred to those other states.
