LEXINGTON, OK – An Oklahoma City man who was killed in a motorcycle crash at the Thunder Valley Raceway has been confirmed to have been one of the track’s employees.
The crash happened on Friday, Oct. 10. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told KOCO that the 45-year-old man was working on a motorcycle and decided to take it for a test drive at the arena’s parking lot. While conducting the test, the man, who did not wear a helmet, crashed his bike, and he died from his injuries at the scene.
OHP said the crash did not occur during an official event and that the man was the only person involved.
Man sent to hospital after possible hit-and-run collision in College Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was taken to a hospital after what Oklahoma City police are calling a possible hit-and-run collision that happened in College Park Sunday.
According to News9, police were dispatched to the intersection of West Hefner Road and North Lee Avenue, along the railroad tracks. Upon arrival, police found the man lying on the ground, saying it appeared that he had been struck by a vehicle.
The man’s physical condition is unclear, and police are working to determine the events that led to this crash.
E-bike rider recovering from hit-and-run crash in Del Mar Landing
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An e-bike rider is recovering from a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Del Mar Landing area on Monday.
The collision happened around 9:00 p.m. in the area of Southeast 4th Street and East Grand Boulevard. News9 said that is where the e-bike rider was rear-ended by a motorcycle.
The impact of the collision ejected the cyclist, and he was left with injuries to his right foot, legs, back, and head. His E-bike was also totaled.
The bike rider alleged that the motorcyclist, a woman, had a male passenger with her, both of whom took off prior to the ambulance’s arrival.
Oklahoma City police said there were no cameras near the crash’s location. At this time, they have a few leads and are deeming this a hit-and-run.
