Update: Officials release more info on deadly crash near Crestline Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to FOX 25, officials have provided additional details concerning a fatal collision near Crestline Park Thursday morning.

A 19-year-old man was driving south near Southwest 84th Street and South Western Avenue when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle operated by a 52-year-old man around 5:30 a.m.

First responders transported the 52-year-old man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities determined the 19-year-old was impaired. The man refused to undergo testing, so the police obtained a warrant for a blood test.

Police arrested the 19-year-old. He is charged with first-degree manslaughter, DUI, and driving left of center causing accident without valid driver’s license resulting in death.

 

Motorcyclist dies following multi-vehicle accident in Pottawatomie County

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OK – A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal multi-vehicle collision in Pottawatomie County early Thursday morning, according to KOKH.

A 30-year-old man was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer north on US 177 near Tucker Road when he went to pass vehicles in the oncoming lane and collided with a white Ford F-350 operated by a 32-year-old man around 4:42 a.m.

The Explorer then hit an orange 2002 Honda GL1800 motorcycle ridden by a 76-year-old man. The 76-year-old man and his 56-year-old passenger were both ejected from the vehicle. Neither of them was wearing a helmet.

First responders transported the 76-year-old man and the 56-year-old woman to an area hospital. The man was admitted in critical condition. The woman died in the hospital.

The Explorer and F350 drivers were not injured in the collision.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

Multiple ambulances dispatched to crash on Interstate 40 in Del City

DEL CITY, OK – According to KOCO, several ambulances responded to a five-vehicle collision on Interstate 40 westbound in Del City Friday morning.

Police told reporters that only minor injuries in the accident.

Footage from the scene showed a van with major damage and four other vehicles.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a crash near The Oaks Friday afternoon, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident occurred at Northeast 130th Street and North Kelley Avenue around 12:31 p.m.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to injury accident on Shields Boulevard

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to the scene of an accident with injury on Shields Boulevard Friday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a collision at 4816 South Shields Boulevard northbound around 9:43 a.m.

Officials have not provided more details.
