NEAR GOTEBO, OK – According to an update from KSWO, it was a 20-year-old man from Lookeba who was killed in a fatal crash that happened south of Gotebo on Tuesday.
The collision occurred before 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 54 and East 1380 Road.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is working to determine the exact cause of the vehicle accident and has not announced any charges.
Driver booked into custody following pursuit-turned-crash in Edmond
EDMOND, OK – A driver was booked into custody following a pursuit-turned-crash that ended in Edmond on Thursday, News9 reports.
Preliminary details show that a suspect was driving in the area of Northwest 10th Street and North Virginia Avenue and was fleeing from Oklahoma City police. The suspect then came onto I-40, then I-25 and drove toward Edmond.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called in for backup and initiated a tactical maneuver.
The suspect’s vehicle stopped and flipped over.
It’s unclear if the driver was hurt, but troopers arrested them.
OK-DOT summoned to three-vehicle accident in Midwest City
MIDWEST CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews were dispatched to the scene of a three-vehicle accident that occurred on I-40 near Anderson Road on Thursday.
KOCO said the force of the collision left damage to the grille on a semi-trailer, significant front-end damage to one car, and damage to another vehicle.
The specifics behind what led to the crash have not been reported.
Officials shut down the eastbound lanes, resulting in delays on I-40. All lanes have reopened since.
