OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A teen driver was sent to a local hospital after a two-car crash that happened along Lake Hefner Wednesday night. 

The teen driver collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Lake Hefner Parkway and South Lake Hefner Drive, according to KFOR. Oklahoma City police and ambulance crews pulled up to the scene just before 7:30 p.m. 

EMS crews transported the teen driver to the emergency room for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was spared from injuries. 

Oklahoma City police are working to determine the exact cause of the collision and have not announced any citations at this time. 

1 killed, another hurt in motorcycle collision at I-35, I-44 in NE OKC 

NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle collision that took place at the I-35 and I-44 connector on Thursday. 

KOCO said the motorcycle crash happened around 3 p.m., and News9 said that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved. 

Oklahoma Highway Patrol temporarily advised drivers to avoid the area for the scene clean-up process and investigation. 

OHP has not released more information regarding how the crash unfolded and the victims’ ages, genders, and places of residence. 

Lawton PD closes I-44 W for several hours due to big rig rollover collision

LAWTON, OK – Lawton police shut down I-44 W South for several hours due to a big rig rollover collision that happened on Friday, KSWO said.

The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m., and the truck driver had crashed into an exit sign leading to Cache Road. All southbound lanes became blocked as a result and were reopened around 7:45 a.m.

Police confirmed that no one was injured in the crash. The exact cause of the collision has not been reported.

At least 1 hurt in vehicle accident in OKC’s Broadway

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that happened in the Broadway Park neighborhood on Friday.

Total Traffic Network’s OKC division first announced the crash at 9:25 a.m., saying it took place at the East Hefner Road and North Kelley Avenue intersection.

Officials did not confirm the extent of injuries that were sustained, list the number of people and vehicles involved, or announce any charges.

No one injured in crash in West OKC 

WEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – No one was injured in a crash that happened in West Oklahoma on Friday, according to OKC’s Public Department of Public Safety. 

The collision happened after 10 a.m. on the 400th block of Council Road, the OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker confirmed. 

No citations have been reported. 

Officials called to vehicle accident in OKC’s Airpark

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials were called to the scene of a vehicle accident that took place in the AirPark and Heronville area on Friday.

Total Traffic Network’s OKC division occurred before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue.
