Troopers investigate deadly crash on OK 22 near Milburn
MILBURN, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on OK 22, six miles south of Milburn, on Wednesday, according to KOKH.
A 34-year-old woman was heading south on OK 22 when she failed to negotiate a curve and plowed into a tree around 8:43 p.m.
The driver was pinned for around 2 hours. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene from a head injury.
A 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy were also in the vehicle.
The 8-year-old boy was pinned for around 25 minutes. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital in stable condition. The 7-year-old boy was not hurt.
