OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Several people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened in the College Park area Monday morning, KOCO reports. 

The crash took place before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest 115th Street and Western Avenue, and warranted a response from local police, several firefighters, and a tow truck. 

First responders have not disclosed the extent of injuries the occupants sustained or announced any charges at this time.

1 critically injured in alleged DUI-crash, OKC PD says 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was critically injured in a collision caused by a suspected impaired driver on Friday, the Oklahoma City Police Department says. 

The alleged DUI-crash took place before 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Britton Road and Fishermans Road, according to KFOR. Three people appeared to have been involved in the crash, one of whom was critically hurt and taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Two others appeared to have been injured but were not taken to the hospital. 

Police have not disclosed how the collision unfolded or announced any DUI-related charges at this time.

High schools student, adult hospitalized after head-on wreck in Coyle  

COYLE, OK – Some high school students and one adult were sent to Oklahoma hospital following a head-on wreck on the outskirts of Coyle Friday. 

News9 indicates that the collision was between a Guthrie High School SUV and a white pickup truck. Law enforcement told the source that the Guthrie high school students and adult, a choir director, were returning from an Oklahoma State football game, where they were in charge of concessions. On their way back to Guthrie, the SUV collided with the pickup truck at the intersection of Oklahoma 33 and Coyle Road.

The force of the collision left the four SUV occupants with non-life-threatening injuries. EMS crews rushed to the scene and transported them to OU Medical Center, Integris Baptist, and Stillwater Medical Center. 

Two students were released from the hospital, and three were released to their parents.  

Another vehicle also appeared to have been involved, but police did not share the specifics of what happened to that vehicle and did not report any injuries to the occupants of that vehicle or the pickup truck. 



Car overturns in Minco, claiming 10-year-old’s life 

MINCO, OK – A 10-year-old child lost their life to a rollover accident that took place off Highway 152 and County Street 2760 around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. 

According to KFOR, one driver had lost control of their vehicle while traveling on the highway and crashed into a bridge rail, which caused the vehicle to flip over and eject their passenger, the 10-year-old child. Moments later, the overturned vehicle then struck another vehicle. 

The 10-year-old child died from their injuries at the scene. 

Police noted that the child and their driver did not wear seatbelts, while the other driver did. Police also said the driver of the second vehicle did their best to avoid a collision, but a crash seemed inevitable. 

The other driver and their passenger were unharmed. 



OK DoT crews summoned to vehicle accident near Bricktown Ballpark

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Transportation crews were called to the scene of a vehicle accident that happened east of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Monday. 

The Total Traffic Network OKC team first announced the crash at 8 a.m., saying it occurred at the intersection of Reno Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.  


No lane closures were reported. 

First responders have not specified the exact cause of the crash or said if anyone was injured.

Collision reported in The Greens District in NW OKC

NW OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City’s division, a collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. The Greens District on Monday. 

The crash happened at the intersection of West Memorial Road and Portland Avenue. 

No lane closures were reported, but drivers were likely advised to proceed with caution as crews worked to clean up the debris from the crash.

Officials have yet to confirm how the collision unfolded and if anyone was injured.
