Semi-truck driver fatally collides with SUV in Horntown
HORNTOWN, OK – According to FOX 25, a semi-truck driver fatally collided with an SUV at US 75 and US 270 on March 27.
A 79-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Ford Escape north on US 75 when she made a left turn and was hit by a southbound 2007 Peterbilt operated by a 64-year-old man around 3:45 p.m.
First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver refused treatment.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They found the cause of the collision to be a failure to yield.
1 dead, 1 arrested following 3-vehicle Choctaw crash
CHOCTAW, OK – One person died and another was arrested following a three-vehicle collision on I-40 eastbound near South Triple X Road Wednesday morning, according to News 9.
A driver was speeding when they crashed around 5:30 p.m. and became disabled in the roadway. A fuel tanker struck the rear of that vehicle. A third vehicle then crashed into the fuel tanker.
The driver of the third vehicle died in the wreck.
First responders transported one person to an area hospital. It is unclear which vehicle they were in.
Authorities arrested the first driver for DUI.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Train strikes, injures pedestrian in central Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KFOR, a train hit a person near Southwest 21st Street and South Western Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
Following the collision, first responders transported the victim to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

Crash near Stockyards City Main Street injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, at least one person was hurt in a wreck at Southwest 11th Street and South May Avenue Wednesday morning.
The incident was reported to authorities around 8:09 a.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Emergency crews respond to crash near Midtown
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at North Dewey Avenue north of Northwest 10th Street.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8 a.m.
Officials have not released more details.

Auto accident disrupted traffic near Zachary Taylor
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck blocked traffic at Interstate 235 southbound and Northwest 50th Street Wednesday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 7:50 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
