Police ID suspect in fatal hit-and-run in El Reno

EL RENO, OK – According to News 9, authorities have identified a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run collision in El Reno Wednesday night.

A 21-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arguing over a car at an apartment complex near South Grand Avenue and West London Street when the 21-year-old man struck the 36-year-old man with the vehicle in question.

First responders pronounced the 36-year-old man dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the 21-year-old man fled the scene.

Authorities are trying to locate the 21-year-old man..

 

1 hurt in single-vehicle collision in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY — A driver was hurt in a single-vehicle collision in southwest Oklahoma City Thursday morning, according to KOCO.

A driver collided with an electric pole near Southwest 25th Street and May Avenue around 12:30 a.m. The crash caused the power to go off for over 100 people.

First responders transported the driver to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the incident.

 

1 dead in train vs. pedestrian collision in Edmond

EDMOND, OK – According to News 9, a woman died in a train vs. pedestrian collision in Edmond Wednesday night.

The train hit the woman near West Danforth Road and North Broadway around 11 p.m.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene.

The Edmond Police Department is investigating the accident.

 

Crash in northwest Oklahoma City injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a car accident in northwest Oklahoma City Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred near Candlewood Drive and Northwest Expressway westbound around 3:29 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
