Police arrest man for fatal Cotton County crash
COTTON COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, authorities have apprehended a man who has been wanted for over two years for a fatal two-vehicle crash on OK 36 near Randlett in Cotton County on September 9, 2022.
A 41-year-old man was driving when he collided with a vehicle operated by Crystal Martinez. Following the collision, both vehicles caught fire.
First responders pronounced Martinez dead at the scene and transported the 41-year-old man to an area hospital.
A blood test revealed the 41-year-old man tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
Authorities charged the man with first-degree manslaughter, DUI, and failing to keep right.
The 41-year-old man fled the state. He was placed on Oklahoma’s 10 Most Wanted List in January.
Investigators found the 41-year-old man in Texas and arrested him.
Crash snarls traffic near Valley Brook
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck clogged traffic on the ramp from Interstate 240 westbound to Interstate 35 northbound Wednesday morning, according to News 9.
It is unclear how many people were involved in the collision and if anyone was hurt.
The Oklahoma Police Department is investigating the incident.
