Pedestrian killed following 2-vehicle crash in Oliver Park South

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian died following a two-vehicle collision near Southeast 41st Street and South Shields Boulevard Friday night, according to KFOR.

A driver was backing out of the driveway when they were hit by a speeding driver around 10:30 p.m. The car that was hit then collided with a person standing in their yard nearby.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The two occupants inside the vehicle that was struck were hospitalized in critical condition.

Authorities arrested the speeding driver.

 

Mercedes driver collides head-on with another vehicle on Caddo Highway near Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, OK – A Mercedes-Benz driver was killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Caddo Highway near Sawmill Road Saturday morning, according to KOCO.

A person was driving a Mercedes-Benz east on Caddo Highway when he strayed into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 26-year-old man around 1 a.m.

Emergency crews extricated the Mercedes-Benz driver from their vehicle before pronouncing them dead at the scene. They were not wearing a seatbelt, and their airbags did not deploy.

First responders transported the driver of the Silverado to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt, and his airbags deployed at the time of the accident.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Rollover dump truck collision snarls traffic in southeast Tulsa

TULSA, OK – According to FOX 23, a dump truck crash clogged traffic near US 169 and Broken Arrow Expressway Monday morning.

The dump truck driver hit a car, causing the dump truck to overturn and spill sand over the roadway.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene.

Officials urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.

 

Crash blocks inside shoulder of Interstate 35 near Cloverleaf

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An accident closed down the inside shoulder of Interstate 35 southbound and Southeast 66th Street Monday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred around 8:44 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Collision snarls traffic on Interstate 40 in Pottawatomie County

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, an accident at Interstate 40 eastbound and US 177 caused traffic to back up to Oklahoma 102, roughly three miles west of the crash site, on Monday morning.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 9:40 a.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A collision was reported at Oklahoma 152 eastbound and South Morgan Road Monday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 8:20 a.m.
