OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was injured as a result of a hit-and-run crash that happened at a McDonald’s located in the Windsor Hills area on Saturday.
News9 said the crash took place at 4500 NW 23rd Street. Preliminary details show that a driver of a gold sedan was driving at a low speed and pulling up to the McDonald’s drive-thru when they struck the pedestrian.
The driver did not render aid to the pedestrian and did not call 911. The suspect immediately fled the scene.
EMS crews hurried to the scene and took the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police are investigating the details behind the crash and have not yet released a description of the suspect.
2 adults, 2 kids involved in pursuit-turned-rollover collision in SE OKC
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two adults and two children were involved in a pursuit-turned-rollover collision that occurred in Southeast Oklahoma City on Saturday.
According to News9, the car crashed and overturned after Oklahoma City police conducted a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI). The impact of the collision caused the car to crash into a light pole and then overturn. This happened near SE 59th Street and Santa Fe Avenue.
Two adults and two children were inside the vehicle. Based on what the news source said, it appears that all four occupants were taken to a hospital. Their physical conditions remain unknown, but officials did say they were unconscious and alert at the time of the crash.
The events leading to the pursuit and crash were not reported, and no pending charges have been announced at this time.
UPDATE: Driver arrested after pursuit-turned-rollover crash in SE OKC
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver was arrested after a pursuit-turned-rollover crash in Southeast Oklahoma City on Saturday.
KFOR said in an update that the driver was going 75 mph near Northeast 10th and I-35, which is what prompted a police pursuit.
The pursuit ended when police performed a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI) and the driver crashed his car into a pole, which caused it to overturn, and left him with a broken arm.
Police arrested the man at the scene. His four passengers, another adult and two children, were left uninjured.
Male pedestrian fatally struck by car along Pryor’s Hooker’s Bar & Grill
PRYOR, OK – A man suffered fatal injuries following a deadly pedestrian collision that occurred outside of Hooker’s Bar & Grill on Sunday, KTUL said.
The man had left the bar and walked across northbound Highway 69 and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The crash occurred at 8:12 p.m. Bar employees and drivers at the scene rushed to the man’s aid and conducted CPR on him prior to ambulance crews arriving. First responders took him to a hospital where he later died.
The driver is cooperating with officials. No charges appeared to have been filed.
Officials called to pickup truck, sedan accident in North OKC
NORTH OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – First responders were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident that appeared to have been between a pickup truck and a sedan on Monday.
The collision occurred on the Broadway Extension and left damage to both vehicles, according to KOCO. The vehicles were able to pull over to the side and did not seem to be blocking any lanes of traffic.
Traffic delays were seen on the southbound lanes of the highway as crews worked to clear the scene, and as an EMSA ambulance was rendering aid.
The vehicles have since been removed from sight.
No injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – No one was injured in a vehicle collision that occurred in the West Watch neighborhood Monday.
OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker said the crash happened at 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of South Cemetery Road and West Reno Avenue.
Authorities have not specified how the crash unfolded nor did they mention the number of people and vehicles involved or said if anyone would face charges.
