Officials release more info on deadly motorcycle crash in west Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, officials have provided more details concerning the fatal motorcycle wreck that occurred on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike northbound near Southwest 15th Street Sunday evening.

A 40-year-old man was heading north on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike when he strayed off the road and hit a guardrail. He was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the roadway.

A car driver and a semi-truck driver ran over the man as he was in the roadway.

First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

3 hurt following multi-vehicle crash near Granada Village Mobile Home Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Three people were hurt in a five-vehicle collision near Southwest 29th Street and South MacArthur Boulevard Thursday morning, according to News 9.

One of the three people hurt suffered serious injuries.

Authorities arrested one person.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the incident.

 

Driver dies in Moore construction zone crash

MOORE, OK – According to KOCO, a driver died in a single-vehicle collision near Southeast 4th Street and Interstate 35 Thursday morning.

The driver crashed around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities are hoping surveillance footage from cameras in nearby businesses will help give them an idea of what happened.

Officials have not released the victim’s age, gender, or name.

The Moore Police Department is investigating the incident.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Southwest 36th Street and South MacArthur Blvd on Thursday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 4:53 a.m.
