Multiple crashes blocks traffic on I-44 in Wellston

WELLSTON, OK – Several crashes disrupted both directions of traffic on I-44 near OK 66 on Saturday, according to KOCO.

Multiple drivers crashed into a construction barrier wall. This caused one lane in each direction to close.

Emergency crews had the area reopened in three and a half hours.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
