NORMAN, OK – A motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital where he later died after colliding with another vehicle around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, KOCO reports.

Preliminary details show the motorcyclist was allegedly driving recklessly on Robinson Street near Canterbury Avenue when he collided with the second vehicle.

Police said no one else was injured.

Man, 75, dies following rear-end crash in Valliant

VALLIANT, OK – A 75-year-old man died following a rear-end crash near Highway 70 and Valliant Bypass Road on Thursday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told KTEN that the 75-year-old man had fallen asleep at the steering wheel while driving, leading him to drift off the road, go across some lanes, and rear-end a vehicle.

The 75-year-old man, a Bokchito resident, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

T-bone collision in Tulsa claims motorcyclist’s life

TULSA, OK – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed in a t-bone collision that occurred in the McClure Park neighborhood around 5:30 a.m. on Friday, KJRH reports.

A car driver was traveling south on North Memorial Drive and turned in front of an oncoming northbound motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist, 37, was ejected from his bike.

Tulsa police discovered that the motorcyclist was speeding prior to the crash, and said he died from his injuries.

No car occupants were injured.

At the time of the reporting, officials shut down the northbound lanes and said all lanes were anticipated to reopen around 8:30 a.m.

2 killed, 1 hospitalized after multi-vehicle wreck in Coleman

COLEMAN, OK – A man and a woman were killed, and another person was sent to the hospital as a result of a multi-vehicle wreck on Thursday, KXII said.

Preliminary details show that an 87-year-old man was driving north on OK Highway 48 and was reportedly speeding when and swerved to avoid hitting another northbound vehicle.

A crash proved to be inevitable as the 87-year-old clipped the bumper on that vehicle he was trying to avoid hitting. Moments later, the 87-year-old man’s vehicle went into the opposite direction of traffic and he collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.

The 87-year-old man and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. EMS crews took the driver of the southbound vehicle, a 54-year-old man from McKinney, Texas, to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the details behind the crash.

At least 1 injured in SUV-car crash in Uptown OKC

UPTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in an SUV and car crash that happened at the Northwest 36th Street and I-235 connector on Wednesday.

KOCO said the car and SUV collided around 6:30 p.m. After arriving, officials closed a portion of the interstate for the scene clearance and investigation period.

Officials have not specified how the crash unfolded or whether charges were filed against anyone.

Injuries reported in collision east of OK State University 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Injuries were reported in a collision that occurred east of Oklahoma State University on Friday. 

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker first announced the crash at 1:29 p.m., saying it happened on the 3176th block of Northwest 10th Street. 

Officials have not said how many people were injured, nor did they specify the extent of those injuries. In addition, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Public Safety division has not confirmed how the crash unfolded and has not announced any citations.
