NEAR GERTY, OK – A 45-year-old man died and two others were injured in a head-on crash that occurred on Highway 75 near County Road 1480 on Friday, News9 reports.
Preliminary details show that the 45-year-old man was driving south on the highway when he drifted out of his lane, veered into the northbound lane, and crashed head-on into a northbound vehicle.
The 45-year-old man died from his injuries at the scene. Two occupants from the northbound vehicle were left with unspecified injuries.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the 45-year-old man went over double solid yellow lines. As of this writing, troopers have not confirmed what caused the man to go into the opposite lanes of traffic.
OKC man’s life claimed in motorcycle collision at Thunder Valley Raceway
LEXINGTON, OK – An Oklahoma City man’s life was claimed in a motorcycle collision that occurred at Thunder Valley Raceway on Friday.
The Oklahoman said the collision occurred before 4 p.m., just south of Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol declared the motorcyclist, 45, dead at the scene.
Troopers are actively working to determine the events that led to the collision.
2 hospitalized following vehicle accident in Edmond
EDMOND, OK – EMS crews took two people to the hospital following a vehicle accident that occurred off I-35 South and Waterloo Road Saturday, KFOR said.
