STONEWALL, OK – A 59-year-old man was killed in a UTV rollover collision last Tuesday, March 17, KTEN reports.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident happened after midnight on Pontotoc County Road 3660. The 59-year-old seemed to lose control of his UTV, which led him to go off the road and the UTV to overturn three to four times.

The driver was entrapped or pinned and required extrication from fire crews.

EMS personnel rushed the driver to Mercy Hospital Ada after the extrication was completed. There, the motorist died from his injuries.

The victim had a male passenger with him, who survived and sustained unspecified injuries.

The surviving occupant’s current physical condition has not been disclosed.

Failure to negotiate curve was factor in fatal crash in Delaware Co., OHP says

DELAWARE COUNTY, OK – A driver failed to negotiate a curve, which was a factor behind a fatal crash that happened in Delaware County on Sunday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told News on 6 that a male driver failed to negotiate a curve on County Road S 575 and crashed into a parked car.

The male driver of the parked car was standing outside his vehicle, and one passenger was inside the parked car.

The driver of the parked car and his passenger were rushed to a hospital.

The driver of the parked car later died from his injuries. OHP has identified him as a 40-year-old adult from Quapaw.

The injured passenger’s current physical condition has not been made immediately clear.

The male driver, who missed the curve, and his passenger were uninjured. OHP did not say if they cited this driver.

OHP has started a full investigation.

OK DPS investigates vehicle accident in Uptown OKC

UPTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a vehicle accident in the Capitol View area.

The crash occurred after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of eastbound North 36th Street and North Lincoln Boulevard, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

LUTHER, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle collision west of Luther High School on Monday, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

The crash occurred before 1 p.m. on the 17000th block of Northeast 164th Street.
