MAUD, OK – A 40-year-old man from Konawa died as a result of a rear-end crash that occurred at the intersection of State Highway 59 and East-West 1290 Road Saturday.
The collision occurred before 3:30 p.m., KOCO reports.
Preliminary details show that the man’s car was rear-ended by another vehicle. The 40-year-old man, who was driving his vehicle, had lost control of his car and then drifted off the road. The force of the collision caused his car to overturn, and he died from his injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not confirm if they arrested the driver responsible for the collision, nor confirmed any contributing factors.
Elderly female passenger dead following two-vehicle accident in Catoosa
CATOOSA, OK – A 73-year-old female passenger died as a result of a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Catoosa on Sunday.
KTUL said the collision happened before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 412 and South 265th Avenue. The woman’s driver was going west on the highway and collided with another vehicle as it was coming off the South 265th exit ramp.
The force of the crash led the woman to die from her injuries at the scene, and her driver was injured.
No citations have been reported at this time.
OK-DOT blocks Broadway Ext. due to semi-trailer crash
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation had to block the majority of the northbound Broadway Extension due to a semi-trailer crash on Wednesday.
The collision happened between North 63rd Street and Wilshire Boulevard, and the crash has since cleared, according to KOCO.
Officials said they were working to remove another vehicle from the site, but did not confirm if that vehicle was directly involved in the collision.
No one was injured in the crash.
OK-DOT responds to secondary Broadway Ext. collision
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation was called to a secondary collision that also happened on the Broadway Extension, KOCO reports.
Preliminary details show that a pickup truck had crashed into the back of a semi-trailer.
Crews removed the pickup truck from the site. At this time, it is unclear if anyone was injured or if the pickup truck driver was cited.
Delays reported towards NW 39th St. due to I-44 crash in OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen towards the Northwest 39th Street Expressway due to a collision that happened at eastbound I-44 and Classen Boulevard.
TTN’s OKC first announced the crash and delays at 8:00 a.m. The exact cause of the vehicle accident, the number of people and vehicles involved, have not been added.
