TULSA, OK – Icy road conditions appeared to be a contributing factor that led to a fatal rollover crash that claimed the life of a 44-year-old woman on Monday.  

According to KTUL, the 44-year-old woman was driving on the 3700th block of North Highway 75 when she lost control of her pickup truck due to the icy roads. She veered off the road and crashed into an embankment. 

The dark-red pickup truck was seen on its roof, and the driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. 

Tulsa police and fire crews were the primary first responders.  

Fuel spill reported on I-40 in West OKC due to semi-truck collision 

WEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A fuel spill was seen on I-40 in West Oklahoma City on Monday due to a semi-truck collision that happened on Monday. 

KOCO first reported the crash at 9:27 a.m., saying it happened between North Council Road and Morgan Road. Preliminary details show that the semi-truck had overturned, which is what led to the fuel spill. 

Based on what our team knows so far, it appeared that black ice and slick road conditions may have been a contributing factor. 

No injuries have been reported at this time. 

Vehicle crash shuts down U.S. 64 Bridge in Bixby

BIXBY, OK – Authorities had to shut down the U.S. 64 bridge on Monday because of a vehicle crash, Fox23 reports.

Bixby Public Schools were among the organizations affected by the closures, but confirmed no buses of their own were involved in the crash.

Police later opened South Memorial Drive and the U.S. 64 Bridge, but still told drivers to anticipate delays.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.

Motorcyclist critically injured in collision with car in Windsor Forest

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist was left in critical condition as a result of a collision involving a car that happened last Wednesday, Nov. 26.

News9 said the car and motorcyclist collided at the intersection of Northwest 19th Street and Meridian Avenue in the Windsor Forest neighborhood. Ambulance personnel transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment.

The car driver remained at the scene. No citations were reported.

At least 1 hurt in traffic crash near Baptist Medical Center

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a traffic crash that occurred east of Baptist Medical Center on Monday.

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker reported the collision at 11:22 a.m., saying it took place at the intersection of Northwest Expressway West and Mosteller Drive North.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the collision and have not said if anyone was cited.

Portion of I-40 West in Midwest City blocked due to vehicle accident

MIDWEST CITY, OK – Crews blocked a portion of I-40 West along Post Road due to a vehicle accident that happened on Tuesday.

Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City division first announced the collision at 6:50 a.m. Officials said they blocked the right lane. Traffic delays could be seen towards exit 165 on I-240.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the collision. No injuries were reported.
