Hit-and-run driver kills pedestrian near Adventure District

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a person near Northeast 50th Street and North Michigan Avenue Sunday morning.

The driver hit the victim around 2 a.m.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Oklahoma Police Department is investigating the incident.

 

Ambulance crashes due to Newkirk dust storm

NEWKIRK, OK – A dust storm caused an ambulance to crash near Oklahoma 11 and North W Street on Friday, according to News 9.

The ambulance was returning from Blackwell Hospital when it was caught in the dust storm and hit other vehicles around 1:30 p.m.

First responders transported the firefighters and medics aboard the ambulance to the hospital. Two others were injured in the collision. Their conditions are unknown.

Crews shut down OK 11 following the wreck due to low visibility.

TULSA, OK – According to News on 6, a crash snarled traffic at US 75 Northbound and West 23rd Street on Monday morning.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Southwest 29th Street and South Portland Avenue on Monday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The crash was reported to authorities around 10:56 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to crash near Highland Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at Southeast 59th Street and South Bryant Avenue on Monday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 7:10 a.m.

Officials have not provided more details.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near South Lindsey

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck blocked traffic at Southeast Grand Boulevard at I-35 on Monday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 5:05 a.m.
