HARRAH, OK – The Simple Brew, a coffee shop in Harrah, was damaged as a result of a crash that occurred on Monday.
KOCO said a vehicle driver got her foot stuck on the gas pedal, leading her to crash into the establishment. No customers were inside at the time of the collision. No one, including the employees and driver, was injured.
The coffee shop will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday, Nov. 19, and the drive-thru will reopen on Thursday.
Suspect in custody after pursuit-turned-collision near Purcell
NEAR PURCELL, OK – A driver was taken into custody after a pursuit-turned-collision that occurred on I-35 near Purcell on Wednesday, KOCO reports.
The pursuit began at mile marker 78 and ended at mile marker 93. Following the collision, the suspect tried to flee, but was apprehended by Purcell Police, McClain County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The suspect is now in custody. Law enforcement shared a photo of an overturned tractor-trailer located at the collision site. However, they did not say whether the suspect crashed into the truck and caused it to flip over, nor did they say whether the truck driver was injured.

UPDATE: Red-light running suspected in fatal pickup truck crash in Midwest City
MIDWEST CITY, OK – According to new information from KOCO, Midwest City police suspect a driver ran a red light, which led to a fatal pickup truck crash on Monday.
One driver was said to have gone 100 mph and run a red light, which caused them to collide with another pickup truck on North 23rd Street, near North Douglas Boulevard and Post Road.
The driver, who was reportedly speeding and ran a red light, later died.
KFOR said in an update that the four other occupants, a man, a woman, and two children, survived. They were taken to a hospital. At this time, their physical conditions remain unknown.
Man, 36, killed in single-vehicle accident in McAlester
MCALESTER, OK – A 36-year-old-man lost his life to a single-vehicle accident that happened along Blue Holiness Church on Friday, KXII reports.
A 36-year-old man was driving on westbound U.S. 270, when he drifted off the road and crashed. His vehicle overturned and crashed into a barbed wire fence. The force of the collision ejected him from his vehicle, and he died from his injuries at the scene.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified him as a McAlester local. No other details, which include the exact cause of the crash, has been made readily available.
Delays reported towards Penn Ave. after Kilpatrick Turnpike crash
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen towards Pennsylvania Avenue after a crash that took place on Kilpatrick Turnpike on Wednesday.
Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City division first announced the collision at 7:55 a.m., saying it took place on the eastbound lanes near the Broadway Extension.

Crews cleared the scene in a span of five minutes, although traffic congestion lingered for at least half an hour.
At this time, officials have not specified how the crash unfolded or confirmed if anyone was injured.

At least 1 injured in collision in Uptown OKC
UPTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person sustained injuries in a collision that occurred in Uptown Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker reported the crash at 11:52 a.m. and said it happened at the intersection of Northwest 39th Street and North Georgia Avenue.
The extent of injuries was not confirmed.
