LAWTON, OK – Several first responders were summoned to the scene of a collision involving a woman and a child on Tuesday, Oct. 28, KSWO reports.
The crash took place around 4 p.m. near Baseline Road. Based on what officials know so far, it seems that the woman lost control of her car, which caused her to leave her center lane and crash her vehicle.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cache and Indiahoma Fire Departments, and Survival Flight all responded to the scene. At this time, they did not say if the woman and child were injured or if anyone could expect to face charges.
OHP closes Turner Turnpike East in OKC due to big rig rollover crash
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Highway Patrol and crews had to shut down the eastbound lanes of Turner Turnpike at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday due to a big rig rollover crash.
According to News9, the big rig had overturned after colliding with another tractor-trailer. Troopers reported injuries after the two trucks collided, but did not confirm how many people were hurt, nor did they specify the extent of those injuries.
By 2 p.m., the eastbound lanes remained closed.
Crews helped troopers remove the flipped-over truck from the road onto a ditch by using a front-end loader.
Troopers have not specified the events that led to the truck crash or confirmed any charges.
Heavy traffic delays reported on I-240 in OKC after motorcycle accident
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Heavy traffic delays were reported on I-240 along South Western Avenue as a result of a motorcycle accident that happened Thursday evening, KFOR said.
Officials told drivers to expect delays “in and around the area” as crews worked to clean up the scene and as first responders rendered aid to the involved occupant(s).
Authorities have not specified how the collision unfolded or whether anyone was injured.

Four-vehicle wreck clears on I-40 West in Southeast OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Transportation crews cleared the scene of a four-vehicle wreck on I-40 West near South Anderson Road around 7:30 a.m. Friday, KOCO said.
The collision did not seem to heavily damage the vehicles, and the drivers of those vehicles were able to move from the regular traffic lanes onto the shoulder just before tow truck crews arrived.
Traffic delays could be seen for about three miles toward Choctaw Road.
Officials did not say if anyone was injured, nor did they specify how the collision unfolded.
At least 1 injured in crash east of OKC’s Gaillardia Golf Club
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a crash that happened east of the Gaillardia Golf Club on Friday.
OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker first reported the collision at 10:17 a.m., saying it occurred at the intersection of Northwest 150th Street and North Portland Avenue.
The exact cause of the vehicle accident and the extent of injuries have not been disclosed.

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – First responders were summoned to an injury collision that occurred in Central OKC on Friday.
OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker said the crash happened before 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast 59th Street and the South I-35 Service Road.
