SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A female pedestrian’s life was claimed in a crash with a semi-truck that happened on Interstate 44 North on Tuesday.

The collision occurred near Southwest 134th Street, News9 said. Preliminary details show the female pedestrian walked onto the interstate, raised her hands, and was then struck by a semi-truck.

The woman died from her injuries at the scene.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and crews told drivers not to take I-44 North near Southwest 134th Street for the scene clean-up process.

OHP has started an investigation and suspects suicide ideation was a contributing factor behind the crash.

1 hospitalized following pickup truck collision in Stillwater

STILLWATER, OK – One person was sent to a hospital as a result of a double pickup truck collision on the outskirts of Stillwater on Wednesday, OKCFOX said.

The two vehicles, a red pickup truck and a white Ford pickup truck, collided at the intersection of Highway 51 and Perry Road. The impact of the collision caused the white pickup truck to overturn on its side and left severe front-end damage to the red pickup truck.

Stillwater Police are working to determine how the crash unfolded. No citations have been announced at this time.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was summoned to a vehicle accident that happened in the Capitol View area on Wednesday.
