Excessive speed causes deadly Woodward County crash
WOODWARD COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, excessive speed and icy conditions caused a fatal wreck at OK 34 and E County Road 46 on Wednesday morning.
A 39-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Tundra at around 7:20 a.m. when she attempted to pass another vehicle. Not long after, due to ice present on the road at the time, she lost control of the pickup truck due, causing it to roll several times.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Her two passengers were treated and then released.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Crash delays traffic on I-35 near Lake Aluma
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck clogged traffic on southbound Interstate 35 near I-44 on Thursday, according to KOCO.
While officials have not indicated what led up to the incident, a tow truck was seen removing a pickup truck that came to rest facing northbound on I-35 from the scene.
The collision caused traffic to back up past Wilshire Boulevard.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the accident.
Troopers investigate deadly wreck on John Kilpatrick Tpke
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike near I-40 on Thursday.
One person died in the wreck, which officials say occurred at about 12:00 a.m. No information indicating the cause and nature of the incident has been shared with the public.
Emergency crews shut down the area following the collision to process the scene. The area was then reopened at around 3:45 a.m.
Officials have not identified the victim.
Crash in south OKC injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at SW 61st Terrace and S Pennsylvania Avenue on Thursday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.
The incident was reported to authorities around 7:35 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident with injury at Belle Isle Boulevard and NW Expressway on Thursday morning.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8 a.m.
Officials have not released more details.
