Driver suffers medical episode, crashes into home near Broadway Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KFOR, a driver slammed into a house after experiencing a medical episode near Broadway Ext NB and Hefner Rd on Tuesday afternoon.

A man driving a large SUV was heading north on Broadway Ext when he suffered a medical episode and went off the road and down an embankment before colliding with the back door of a home around 1:30 Tuesday.

First responders transported the driver to an area hospital in critical condition.

Nobody was at home when the crash occurred.

Firefighters used metal braces to prevent the home from collapsing due to the damage caused by the collision. It took several hours to remove the SUV from the house.

 

Driver hits, kills pedestrian on US 412 near Chouteau

CHOUTEAU, OK – A driver fatally collided with a man on the Chouteau Creek Bridge on US 412 WB on Sunday, according to KTUL.

The driver struck a 32-year-old man around 3:11 a.m.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Man accused of fatal hit-and-run of OSU student appears in court

STILLWATER, OK – According to News 9, the man charged with a deadly hit-and-run collision at N Monroe St and W Cantwell Ave on Feb. 22, 2024, appeared in court Tuesday

A 21-year-old man was allegedly driving a white pickup truck when he struck a 19-year-old female Oklahoma State University student.

The driver reportedly fled the scene following the collision. Authorities tracked the suspect down and arrested him for leaving the scene of a fatality accident.

The driver has pleaded not guilty.

 

Crash in downtown OKC injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at W Reno Ave and S Walker Ave on Wednesday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The accident was reported to authorities around 7:27 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to wreck in north OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident on the I-44 EB connector to Broadway Ext on Tuesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 9:45 a.m.

Officials have not released more details.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic in Canadian County

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash blocked traffic at I-40 EB and Mustang Rd on Tuesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 10:45 a.m.
