BRYAN COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, a driver struck a pedestrian on northbound US 69 near mile marker 10 on Saturday.

A 22-year-old man from Texas ran into traffic and was hit by a 40-year-old driver at 5:33 p.m.

The pedestrian was injured in the collision. The driver and his two passengers were not hurt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Suspected impaired driver hurt in single-vehicle crash in Washita County

WASHITA COUNTY, OK – An alleged drunk driver was injured in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 152 near North 2280 Road on Friday, according to FOX 25.

A 54-year-old man was driving east on Highway 152 at high speeds when he tried to pass another vehicle. The man lost control and overcorrected, causing the trailer he was hauling to detach from his vehicle. The driver then started to roll before coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Emergency crews extricated the driver from the vehicle and transported him to an area hospital.

Authorities noted that the driver smelled of alcohol and there were open containers in his car.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

9-vehicle crash clogs traffic on Interstate 44 near Treadwell Hills

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a nine-vehicle collision snarled traffic on northbound Interstate 44 near Southwest 44th Street on Monday.

The incident was a chain reaction from a rear-end crash. One of the nine vehicles was a police vehicle.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at 1718 North Pennsylvania Avenue on Monday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 4:06 p.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to an accident with injury at Straka Terrace and South Western Avenue on Monday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 3:10 p.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Wileman 3

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash blocked traffic on Northwest 50th Street near Oklahoma 3 on Monday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 7:55 a.m.
