Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on US 69 in Mayes County

MAYES COUNTY, OK – A driver struck and killed a pedestrian on US-69 near W 540 Rd on Wednesday night, according to KTUL.

A 27-year-old man was driving a 2019 CHevy Tahoe north on US 69 when he hit a 36-year-old in the roadway around 10:48 p.m.

The pedestrian died in the crash. The driver was not hurt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
