Driver fatally collides with man changing tire in southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a driver struck and killed a man changing a tire for his wife near Linda Lane and South Harrah Road Tuesday night.

A passing car hit the man as he was changing the tire around 8 p.m. The man died in the collision.

Following the crash, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

 

Wrong-way impaired driver strikes, kills motorcyclist in downtown Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A wrong-way impaired driver fatally collided with a motorcyclist on Interstate 44 near South Denver Avenue Sunday night, according to News on 6.

A 64-year-old man was allegedly driving east in the westbound lanes of I-444 when he collided with two motorcyclists around 9 p.m.

First responders pronounced one motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, dead at the scene and hospitalized the other motorcyclist.

Authorities determined the driver was impaired and charged him with driving under the influence and first-degree manslaughter.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Authorities arrest hit-and-run driver for deadly crash

GLENPOOL, OK – According to News on 6, police have arrested a suspected hit-and-run driver for a fatal two-vehicle collision on US 75 near West 136th Street South Wednesday morning.

Two drivers collided around 4:30 a.m. First responders pronounced one of the drivers dead at the scene.

Following the crash, the other driver fled the scene on foot.

Authorities located and apprehended the other driver and charged him with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area has since reopened.

 

Crash near Garrison Park injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a collision near Garrison Park Wednesday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred at North Rockwell Avenue and Northwest 14th Street around 8:25 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to collision near Will Rogers Gardens

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident near Will Rogers Gardens Wednesday morning.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a crash on Interstate 44 near Northwest 36th Street around 8:25 a.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Go Krazys Guns N More

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A collision near Go Krazys Guns N More blocked traffic Wednesday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to Southwest 18th Street and Southwest Grand Blvd around 8:45 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
